Post Culture First Global Coffee/Breakfast
Looking for a simple way to connect with your community?
Host a post conference breakfast or coffee with your community members. Think of this like a book club. Whether they attended the conference or not, come and learn from your fellow community members.
What's your Facilitation Style?
Discover your unique style with a free online course from the Conversation Factory, spearheaded by our community's friend Daniel Stillman. The free course, titled "Developing your Facilitation Style: What are your Hats?" is a great resource.
Also, I recently listened to Daniel's podcast for a stellar episode on ‘How to interview (like) a rockstar' and it was sooo helpful to prepare for the Megan Rapinoe interview. I thought some of you may enjoy this!
Small Consistent Actions
🔑 Keep it simple! Remember, it's the small, consistent actions that build our community fortress. Yes, we aim for at least four events a year, but the magic often happens in those smaller, more frequent gatherings. Simplicity is your secret sauce!
And I can't stress this enough, it's okay if you fall off for a little while. There are just natural ebbs and flows to being a chapter lead. No need to apologize if you need to take a few months off. We get it! We're here whenever you come on back!

'Menopause in the workplace: 5 strategies to support women'
Women between the ages of 45 and 54 make up approximately 20% of the U.S. workforce. And yet, at a time when these women are at the peak of their careers, many are suffering in silence as menopause symptoms affect both their work and personal lives.
Luckily, businesses are starting to take notice of this underserved employee demographic. In 2022, only 4% of large organizations offered or planned to offer a specialized menopause benefit, but that number encouragingly rose to 15% in 2023. Still, these numbers are far too low. Offering menopause benefits – like flexible working hours, workplace accommodations, and mental health resources – not only sets your business apart as an employer but also supports your female employees as they navigate a new chapter in their lives.
'What's Trauma Got to Do With It'
Event Details:
Hosted by the Global Chapter
📅 Date: May 1st
⏰ Time: 9:00am PT / 12:00pm ET / 5:00pm BT
📍Location: Registration Page Here
Event Description:
Join us to explore the profound impact of trauma awareness and the trauma-informed approaches on personal, professional, and societal development. In today's world, trauma is ubiquitous. From unconscious biases to systemic inequalities, trauma manifests in myriad ways, shaping our perceptions, behaviors, and interactions.
Through engaging discussions and real-world examples, we'll delve into the fundamental thesis that trauma awareness is a key to meaningful transformation. Whether it's navigating unconscious biases, addressing gender disparities, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, or fostering employee well-being, understanding trauma is essential.
Our expert speakers, Natalia Bayurova & Sarah Giencke, will highlight the importance of adopting trauma-informed practices not just as part of organizational policies, but as a profound shift in individual and collective consciousness. We'll explore trauma informed strategies for fostering vulnerability, building authentic community connections, and embracing the capacity to be present with our emotions—essential elements for personal and professional growth.
In this AI era where technology often disconnects us from our humanity, we'll emphasize the irreplaceable value of human connection and empathy, and the need for trauma awareness. As we navigate the complexities of modern life, the capacity to be present with “what is,” becomes paramount, serving as the foundation for meaningful transformation at every level.
Whether you're an individual seeking personal growth, a team aiming for greater cohesion, or a company committed to sustainable and regenerative development, this educational session offers invaluable insights into the transformative power of trauma-informed approaches. Join us as we embark on a journey towards authentic connection, resilience, and positive change.
