Ribbon skirts are a cultural clothing that represents womanhood and strength. It is a reminder of our power and roles in our community as women and as members. 

 A red hand stands for all the missing sisters whose voices are not heard or stolen, for the silence of the media and law enforcement in the midst of this crisis, and for the oppression and disheartening treatment of Native women who are now rising to say #NoMoreStolenSisters.  

 The 4 women in red dresses and 5 total women represent the statistic that more than 4 in 5 women (84.3%) have experienced violence in their lifetime.
