This 3-dimensional figure of fire and trash burning displays the realities of where things we use and consume daily end up. I chose the RedBull can and wrapper specifically because these are items that I use and consume daily, that could be recycled, but instead often end up in landfills and are burned down. The result of burning these products proceeds to pollute our environment with toxic gasses and particles in our air.
I added black lungs to display the effects of air pollution on health. Although health is not my main message, others need to realize how air pollution contributes to damaging health in both humans and animals.
The focus of this piece is show the smoke that comes from agricultural machinery. This smoke is to give an idea of where air pollutants come from and how they enter our atmosphere.
