The democratic donkey is used to represent Kamala Harris talking about how she wants to reduce red meats, specifically cow meat, as a way to help lower methane gas emissions.
The cow is the main focus of my quilt block because it is one of the highest contributors to the release of methane gases, including its farts, burps, and poop. The fart bubble is used to represent the methane emissions in the atmosphere.
These black patches with lines of blue are meant to represent holes and rips that will appear in the atmosphere if nothing is done about the rising emission levels. The blue lines are supposed to be the thinning atmosphere, some of the lines are even cut to show that the atmosphere is getting rips in it and is slowly unraveling.
