U13 Rugby Boys Shine at St Stithians Annual Rugby Festival - 21-23 March

Over the first weekend of the Easter Holidays, Clifton proudly sent a formidable team of U13 rugby boys to compete in the renowned St Stithian's annual rugby festival. This event not only showcased the prowess of our young athletes, but also provided them with an unforgettable touring experience.

The festival, featuring esteemed teams from across South Africa, served as a platform for our boys to display their talent on the rugby field. With an exceptional level of competition, our team rose to the occasion, delivering performances that reflected both skill and sportsmanship.

In a series of thrilling matches, our Clifton boys demonstrated their strength and determination. Against St David’s, they secured a commendable victory with a score of 13 – 5. Facing off against the Ridge, they clinched another win with a tight scoreline of 3 – 0. The momentum continued as they dominated Northlands with a resounding 17 – 0 victory, and against Pridwin, they delivered a stunning performance, triumphing with a remarkable scoreline of 43 – 0.

Beyond the results on the scoreboard, what truly distinguished our team was their exemplary conduct both on and off the field. Their commitment to fair play and respect for their opponents exemplified the values instilled by Clifton.

A heartfelt thank you is owed to the parents of our boys, whose unwavering support added an extra dimension to this memorable experience. Their encouragement and presence undoubtedly fuelled the boys' performances and made the journey even more rewarding.

As we celebrate these achievements, we commend our U13 rugby boys for their outstanding performance. Their success at the St Stithians annual rugby festival not only reflects their talent and dedication, but also serves as inspiration for our entire school community.

We look forward to witnessing their continued growth and success on and off the field.
