A Musical Extravaganza: St Mary’s School Kloof Visits Clifton - 13 June

On Thursday, our school was graced with a visit from the talented girls of St Mary's School Kloof. Their performances left an indelible mark on everyone present, creating an unforgettable experience for our entire school community.

The event was a musical extravaganza featuring St Mary’s Jazz Band, award-winning Choir, and vibrant Marimba Band. Each group brought a unique flavour to the programme, captivating our students and staff alike with their extraordinary talents.

The Jazz Band set the tone with their smooth rhythms and impressive solos. Their performance showcased not only technical proficiency but also a deep passion for jazz music, leaving the audience in awe.

Following the Jazz Band, St Mary’s Choir took the stage, filling our chapel with beautiful melodic sounds and angelic voices. Their harmonies were impeccable, and the emotional depth of their singing resonated deeply with everyone in attendance. It was easy to see why they have received so many accolades and awards.

The Marimba Band concluded the event with an energetic and vibrant performance. Their rhythmic beats and synchronised movements brought a lively and joyful atmosphere to the chapel, ending the visit on a high note.

Our students were mesmerised throughout the performances, fully immersed in the musical journey crafted by our talented visitors. This event not only provided an afternoon of entertainment but also inspired many of our own budding musicians.
