Dear Clifton Community,
I trust this weekly newsletter finds you all well.
The changing seasons are unmistakably upon us, with our campus adorned in a vibrant array of colours. Alongside this physical transformation, there's been a noticeable shift in the atmosphere among our children. With the start of the second term, we've witnessed a renewed level of confidence and engagement. Junior students are greeting more confidently, showing increased focus in class, while senior students are walking a bit taller, acting just a bit more assured of who they are and what they want. It's truly heartening to see!
During the incredible Grade 4 showcase, I was struck by the childrens confidence, self-assurance, and high level of engagement and realised how far many of them came over their time at Clifton. It reminded me of the importance of providing opportunities for our children to step outside their comfort zones and showcase their abilities. These experiences are invaluable for their growth and self-confidence.
As part of this commitment to excellence, I'm excited to announce the introduction of a new cognitive education approach called Cognitive Enrichment Advantage (CEA). This innovative approach aims to enhance cognitive skills such as memory, attention, and problem-solving abilities through targeted enrichment activities. Our staff will undergo comprehensive training on this approach at the start of the upcoming half term. We are incredibly excited about the possibilities this new strategy holds and are committed to implementing it effectively over the coming months. Our dedication to providing our children with the best teaching strategies possible remains unwavering, and we are confident that the implementation of CEA will further enrich their learning experiences at Clifton.
As always, thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we strive to create an environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
