Out and About
A note to Parents and Mentors:
The success of this programme is based upon the learning of the individual. It relies on trust and honesty. Therefore, please encourage your child, do the activities with them, but NOT for them.
This booklet is a guide to the programme. It, purposefully, does not include all the little pieces of information or “how to…”s.
The essence of the programme is to discover and learn through doing and creating.
A note to participants:
Well done on starting your Clifton Out and About journey.
All you need to do is complete the tasks to earn your badges.
Things you need to know:
Your parents or mentors may sign off on each task, but the Out and About Co-ordinator must sign off on the Badge.
You might be required to answer questions or demonstrate your skills in order for the badge to be awarded.
Badges may be earned in any order.
You may work on more than 1 badge at a time.
When a Badge is completed you will be awarded that badge at Assembly. This must then be sewn onto your O&A shirt.
