Dear George Moses Horton Middle School Community,
What a wonderful time we had seeing so many of you at our Curriculum Night and Fall Festival! These events give us valuable opportunities to connect with our families and spend time with our students outside of the classroom setting. Your presence and engagement make these events special, and we're grateful for your participation in our school community.
As we wrap up our first quarter, I want to make sure you're aware that report cards will be available through PowerSchool on November 6th. Since grades cannot be modified once they're finalized, I encourage you to ensure you have access to PowerSchool as we move into the second quarter. Your partnership with your student’s teachers throughout the quarter can ensure they meet expectations and see success at the end. If you need any assistance accessing PowerSchool, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teachers or Ms. Bland for support.
On the athletics front, we're closing out an impressive fall sports season. I want to extend congratulations to our Cross Country, Softball, and Boys Soccer teams for their outstanding performances this season. Looking ahead to winter sports, we'll be sending out tryout information soon. As a reminder, tryouts typically don't begin until the fall season is finished. For any students planning to participate in winter sports tryouts, please remember that a current physical must be on file with the school.
Thank you for your continued partnership in making our school community strong.
Best regards,
Go Wildcats!
Mr. Robinson

Morning & Afternoon Carpool Dismissal
Parents, our morning carpool is taking a little longer than our normal run time. As a friendly reminder, please begin dropping off and picking up where the black cones on the sidewalk begin or end. You should only pull into the loop in the afternoon if your child is not outside. We are also kindly asking you to follow the carpool line around the loop and drop students off in front of the school. If you want to check your child out early we do not allow check out after 2:40 p.m.
