LEADERSHIP
LEADERSHIP
January 26, 2025
Dear Wildcat Families,
First, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your incredible ongoing support. Your commitment—whether through event attendance, donations, volunteering, or PTSA engagement—transforms our school community.
I invite our families to our PTSA Meet and Greet on Monday, February 3rd at 5:00 p.m., hosted at Havoc Brewery. This is an open invitation to ALL families. We're actively recruiting new PTSA leadership for next school year and want our leadership to reflect our community as a whole. Enjoy complimentary pizza and snacks while connecting with fellow parents in a casual, centralized location.
Our PTSA has created a funding model that ensures comprehensive support across all areas of school life. To continue this critical work, we invite your participation in our current fundraising efforts:
John Deere Gator Fundraising Campaign: Supporting school-wide initiatives and safety
Chorus Risers (GoFundMe): Highlighting our commitment to student performance and the Arts
PTSA Sponsorship Opportunities: Directly supporting Sports, Arts, Music, Enrichment, and Clubs
I also want to highlight our teachers and the work they do each day. Beyond the classroom hours, they invest countless hours in planning, data review, and creating enrichment opportunities for our students. Each of our teachers approaches their job from the viewpoint of service. I have witnessed their efforts to do right by our students, preparing them for bright and prosperous futures. While we aren't perfect, our educators embody dedication, continuously striving to support every student's unique journey.
At GMH, we believe in the power of partnership. For the second semester, I encourage you to:
Regularly review your child's grades
Communicate openly with teachers
Address concerns promptly
Reach out to administration if you encounter communication barriers
Remember, it truly takes a village to create bright futures. We are committed to growth, learning, and continuous improvement—values we hope to instill in our students.
Warmly, Mr. Robinson

SYSTEMS
PowerSchool is an advanced Student Information System used by schools across the country. Its functions include grading, attendance, and the scheduling of courses. PowerSchool is capable of allowing parents and students to access student grades and attendance in real time, as well as state assessment individual reports. The purpose of this feature is to increase communication and collaboration among parents, students, and teachers. It gives parents and guardians more information about their child’s education and encourages students to take increased ownership of their learning.
Parents/Guardians are provided an opportunity each fall to review their contact information and their student's information in PowerSchool, yet it is important to contact our data manager Mrs. Bland if any parent/guardian or student information has changed at any time during the year. This will ensure families receive all school communications including (but not limited to) report cards, inclement weather notifications, emergencies, and weekly updates from the school.
