Mrs. McDougal & Mr. Swann's 4th grade classes connected with Susan Bennett's nephew Tyler Mauldin using Google Hangout just before Thanksgiving break. Tyler is a meteorologist for Fox 29 in Palm Beach, Florida. Fourth grade students have been reading nonfiction texts and learning about topics of interests - one being weather. They were able to ask Tyler questions in regards to his career and various weather phenomenon.
Google Hangouts are available through your teacher Google account if you are interested in connecting with experts outside the four walls of your classroom. If you need any assistance or support, please reach out through a tech ticket and we will be happy to assist you.
