There are a variety of tools that support visual learners and can add to a lesson, such as incorporating graphic essays. Mind maps allow students to make connections between vocabulary and concepts. Wether hand drawn or digital, mind maps provide critical connections about the content being taught.

Popplet, bubb.le, and Coggle are websites for students to create mind maps or brainstorm ideas. LucidChart Diagrams and Mind Map are two extensions for the Chrome Web browser allowing students to create mind maps within Google Docs. This is a nice feature because it allows quick access to Google Drive so all their work can be stored safe to the cloud.
