Becky Davis' 8th graders have enjoyed using Flipgrid this past week. Flipgrid is a video discussion tool for the classroom. The teacher posts a discussion prompt and students respond in a 30-90 second video. The videos can then be shared to the class grid so other students can respond to their thoughts. No worries if you have a shy student...you have the ability to moderate the videos and decide what is published to the class.

In a world of instant facts and knowledge we have to teach students how to seek sources that are accurate and reliable. Nothing is as reliable as a primary source, but deciphering what is relevant can be difficult with a Google Search. Now you can easily locate and share primary sources with students with NewseumED.
