Try a Virtual Field Trip!

Take your students on an adventure around the world or even the moon with one of these exciting field trips. The possibilities are endless. Best part of all? No need to pack and its free!

Google Arts & Culture: White House This link will take you through the White House. Google Arts & Culture is a great resource for lots of lessons. Find a variety of virtual tours here. One of my favorites was Rhomaleosaurus. These tours allow students to click within the Youtube video and control directions.

Before turning students loose to explore, please preview the sections you want students to explore. Be aware some artwork may contain nudity.

Smithsonian Natural History Museum -tour one of the greatest museums of all time.

360 Cities-Panoramas of the world

Google Science tours -These tours are designed to be used with cardboard virtual reality headsets, but are just as cool on the screen. Students can click within the video and control direction. The video below goes to the edge of the stratosphere by weather balloon.

Airpano- visit locations all over the world. This link takes you to Mt. Everest. Many other expeditions are available at the site such as the one below. From the highest mountains to the deepest oceans, your students will love these adventures!

If you have missed a training opportunity and would like to schedule it either alone during your planning or with a grade level/department please submit a tech ticket and time will be scheduled when it is convenient for you.
