Freebie: Rewordify
Freebie: Rewordify
Rewordify is a FREE tool that simplifies difficult text. Classic literature is available within the site to automatically read, or students can copy and pasted text from an online source and rewordify will replace the difficult words with easier words to better build comprehension. Vocabulary is also strengthened as the originally text remains at the bottom of the screen for students to look back for comparison to the easier to understand version. Rewordify is beneficial for all students, but can transform reading for our struggling readers and/or ESOL students.

Mr. Ruiz explains to students Rewordify is a tool that can be used across all subjects and helps build vocabulary.
10th grader Luisa Almonte uses Rewordify to understand a difficult passage in Mr. Ruiz's Social Studies class.
