Summer Training Opportunities

Over the summer we will be available for any teacher, grade-level, or department who would like to take advantage of summer learning in preparation for next year.

The summer reading program for the community and will be held 11am each Monday during summer at the GEM theater.

Digital Photos...don't loose them!

Summer break is a time for relaxing, of course, if you are like me I relax for a few days but then get the crazy idea to start some kind of project. For years I have said I am going to tackle organizing my photos better. I always think, 'this is the summer!' Then, before I know it, August is here and I never even pulled out the first SD Card.

I keep putting it off. Now it seems like a such a monumental undertaking I am considering using an online digital photo book publisher such as Shutterfly, Canva, FlipHTML5, or MyAlbum. I have always figured my photos would be fine stored on a memory card or safe in my photos on my phone until I am ready to create an album. I was wrong. According to the article, A Beginner's Guide to Backing Up Photos, I could have already lost my babies first steps!
