Join us Tuesday, December 4, as we learn about a variety of Tech Tools from the teachers who attended Georgia Educational Technology Conference (GaETC) in Atlanta earlier this month. Some of the topics include Visual Storytelling for the YouTube Generation, using student portfolios with SeeSaw in the K-5 classroom, and how to teach students to create dynamic infographics. More sessions will be announced in the next few days. There will be something for everyone - teachers and administrators!
This mini workshop will last from 3:30-5. Meet at CHS in the PLC for refreshments and DOOR PRIZES to kick off this fun professional learning event.
Teachers from the school with the highest number of participants will win drink passes!
This Monday, December 3, we will host an informational meeting about obtaining Level 1 Google Certification. If you are in Bundle 9 for Jacket YOUniversity, please make plans to attend.
The join code in Google Classroom is d336m3k if you would like to join.
Becky Davis, 8th grade Social Studies teacher at CMS, learned about Buncee at GaETC earlier this month.
Check out the quick screencast to learn more about how to use this tool to create visually dynamic infographics for pretty much anything. You could this for digital newsletters, or teach students how to use them for projects in class. The possibilities are endless!
