Spheros in the Classroom

Our district now has two class sets of Sphero Robots available for use in any classroom. Spheros are spherical robots that can be used in a variety of ways.  Students are able to learn basic coding skills using drawing, block coding, or if advanced even writing their own scripts. Whitney Brookins 6th Science classes are currently programming them to create an earthquake to test structures they build in order to learn how buildings can withstand the force.
