Consumer Jungle
Consumer Jungle
Teaching personal finances is an important lesson for all students to learn. Wether it is through an early childhood classroom lesson on needs & wants or a high school lesson about investments, all of our students need to graduate understanding how to manage their money. The website Consumer Jungle is a great way to teach lessons on personal finance and avoiding fraud. This site was developed by a mother whose child took her own life after being so far in credit card debt she felt she couldn't find a way out. Now students from all over the country are the editors of the site, and the goal is to increase personal finance knowledge for young adults. There are lots of articles, games to play, and contests students can enter.
