Description of Lights in Studio B

These lights are DMX controlled via the Jester lighting desk (unless otherwise stated).

Kino Flo Image 45

Fluorescent tubes
Large soft light coverage
Tungsten balanced light
Fitted with grill to assist with focussing light
Ideal for green screen / cyc use and creating a wash of soft light
Positioning adjustments carried out manually on the fixture

Rotolight Anova

LED EcoFlood Light.
Bi-colour softlight
Variable brightness and color temperature for Tungsten or Daylight adjustable on lighting desk or on fixture.
Barn doors
Set of filters fit into frame
Can be housed in a hexagonal Chimera soft box which fits onto the barn doors to increase soft light

Kino Flo ParaBeam

Fluorescent tubes
Soft light
Fitted with grill to assist with focussing light
Silver louver fitted to the lamp narrows and intensifies emitting light.
Lamp can be used on a floor stand or rigged on hoist
Positioning adjustments carried out manually on the fixture

Source 4 Jr

Tungsten spot lamp (Note: can get very hot)
Commonly used in theatres
25 to 50 degree angle zoom lens
Shutters allow shaping of light
Frame for gels and filters
Dichroic reflector reduces the heat emitted
Useful for high-contrast gobo projection work
Positioning adjustments carried out manually on the fixture
Often used as a backlight in Studio B.

Selecon Acclaim Fresnel

Tungsten Fresnel (Note: can get very hot)
Hard Light, can be useful as a backlight e.g. as used in Studio B
Positioning adjustments carried out manually on the fixture

KLA Panel Light

Bi-Colour
SoftLight
Stand based
Positioning adjustments carried out manually on the fixture
Variable dimming and colour control on fixture.
