To add a camera to your composition, go to Layer > New > Camera
Enter the details for your camera choice and settings.
We recommend using settings 2-Node Camera, 35mm
Your camera object will appear in the Top view panel and as a new layer in your composition
Use the Transform properties to control the movement of your camera, creating keyframes along the timeline.
Using Position and Point of Interest, you can track your camera from one side of the frame to the other. Or concentrate on where the point of interest is to move the camera around one focus point.
Position your camera at a start point (left of the frame).
Create a keyframe at the start of your move.
Move the playhead on the timeline to your end timing of the move.
Adjust the Position properties (X axis) to move the camera across to the right of the frame.
This will give you a camera movement from left to right across the frame.
This time position your camera left of the frame, but keep the point of interest central.
Create keyframes at the start of the camera movement.
Move the playhead along the timeline to the end timing of the movement.
Change the Position of the camera, keeping the Point of Interest central.
In this example, your camera will move around the central point of the frame.
Be aware of the scale of your background and that when you add these camera moves that you are not losing the edges of your background.
