Below is a description of what is included in the KinoFlo Four Bank Flourescent lighting kit available to book via the SISO website.
These come as individual lamps and are powered by a transformer that plugs into a wall socket. They do not use much power.
To change the colour temperature the tubes need to be replaced (yellow ends for 3200K studio and blue ends for 5600K daylight)
Kit includes:
1 x 4 tube light
1 x transformer
Notes :
Very bright soft light
Low power use
Good for balancing against daylight and brightness adjustment
Can clip extra diffusion to the barn doors for a soft naturalistic look
They are bulky though. You need a C-stand from the TV studio which is heavy and is booked separately.
Both the lamp and stand are 4 ft long so too big for a small car. Do not take on the bus!
Does not come in a case so care must be taken in transporting.
Must decide what coloured tubes you want in advance
