When filming outside, a Matte box is very useful by reducing flare in the lens and essential if using Pro Mist filters.

The SmallRig comes with 4 rings with thread sizes from 67,72,77 and 82mm, which fit onto most of our lenses.

67mm = Sigma 28-70mm. This is the supplied lens for the two new Sony A7 iiis
72mm = Samyang Cine lens 85mm.
77mm = Canon 24-105mm and Samyang 24, 35, 50 and 135mm lenses
82mm = Canon 24-70mm lens
Once you have selected your lens, choose the correct ring from the box and screw it onto the lens carefully.
Then by turning the silver rod at the rear of the matte box, you loosen the opening, slide onto the lens then tighten up. Adjust the top flag to the lens size.
