Breaking News: Jacob Graf has finally admitted to his part in the crime of giving Lauren Bierer a concussion in our freshmen religion class. After four years of blatant denial he has finally come clean.
He recalled the tragic events of a cold winter morning during freshman religion.
“Elizabeth threw a shoe at me, I tried to catch it, I dropped the pole, and Lauren got bonked,” Graf said.
For the past three years, anytime Bierer mentioned the incident Graf would casually dodge the blame onto me. Bierer recalls the incident through a hazed memory.
“I was trying to work on religion then suddenly WAPOW! A pole smacks me right on the top of my head. My iPad screen turned blurry and I couldn't tell if I was lightheaded from the concussion or the laughter,”Bierer said.
This eventful story is looked back on with much humor and forgiveness from Bierer’s point of view. However, Graf finally understood he must admit to his crimes, and not put the blame totally on to another person.
“I admit that I had a big role in Lauren developing a concussion,” Graf said.
After admitting his part, Graf confesses how bad he felt the next day when Bierer was not in class.
“I felt awful. Lauren came in after she felt better, and I was like omg what did we do,” Graf said.
Since the big debate of who should take the blame is finally over, with many apologies given to Bierer, we all realized how funny of a memory this story will be to look back on when we think of our high school years.
Although whether Mrs. Long will find the humor in this story is still a mystery.
