One of the newest members at the Badin Banner, sophomore Emma Frodge has some big plans for the future.
Currently, Frodge is a cheerleader for the Badin Rams. “I like it because it’s a way to interact with people,” Frodge said. “I'm following in my mom’s footsteps, she was a cheerleader in high school.” Frodge’s favorite thing about being a cheerleader is “...getting the crowd hyped up for the team to end up getting a victory!”
She is hoping to be on the honor roll for most of her high school career and wants to get involved with service and leadership. “What interests me [about service] is helping others in need to help them get the things they need.” Frodge said.
A great way to get involved with service at Badin is service trips. Frodge said, “I want to go to the one in the Dominican Republic.”
Frodge is wanting to travel and enjoys different cultures.
“The language is unique… and the different music types are interesting,” Frodge said.
What else does Frodge want her future to look like? Frodge wants to attend the University of Cincinnati, and her ideal job would be in a nursery setting with kids. Wanting to live in Georgia, she finds the environment a mix of city and country that is good for her.
