Most exciting time in APU?

The most exciting time for me at APU was Spring of my Sophomore year when I was debating telling my fiance (which is her current title, thankfully) that I caught the feels for her. We were close friends and I didn't want to mess that up so it was a very intense and prayerful semester.

Advice for incoming freshmen?

ENGAGE in this school, and specifically with your professors and peers. There are so many opportunities here for growth in all areas through conversations with those around you. I know especially as a science major you can feel like you need to bury your head in a book all the time to keep up, but don't do it! It's unhealthy and a waste of your time. Take your studies seriously, but find a balance that encourages growth in ALL areas, not just head knowledge.
