Permaculture & Food Forests

Table Talk

On October 22, the APU Community Garden and Outdoor Learning Lab hosted its first "Garden Table Talk" featuring Nathan Gipple, Director of the Farm and Food Lab in Irvine. Nathan offered instruction and inspiration on permaculture, organic garden strategies that mimic patterns found in nature, and the importance of soil rehabilitation through systems that make sense. He emphasized the importance of making nutrient-dense food accessible to everyone, everywhere.
