Fall 2021 Nature Walk Highlights

We are so grateful for Dr. Scott Kinnes to lead Nature Walk sponsored by the Science & Religion Club on October 23rd. The light rain did not stop us from hiking and enjoying the Colby Trail in Glendora. Dr. Kinnes pointed out many interesting and educational facts on the trail. Moreover, his devotion helped us better appreciate God’s creation through the lense of ecology; Dr. Kinnes reminded us that the sense of renewal and restoration after the Colby Fire in 2014 brings hope. Dr. Kinnes’ new puppy, Skye Walker instantly became the most curious hiker who kept us exploring. Thank you to all who joined us! Stay tuned for our next outing (clean-up day with the Canyon City Environmental Project) in Spring semester!
