Visually strong and create meaning from what we see, artist needs to see the pieces instead of the chunks in order to render
use example to discuss "building a photo" and telling a story in the photo b/c of the visual clues built by the marketing

great observations by the kids about what is in the photo and how the guy looks fake once they've had a chance to really look
discussion---try to prove that the guy is NOT eating a sandwich based on evidence in photo
introduce using paper for overlap, how to cut, glue, leave partially glued so can add.
