7th grade Art
Course description
In 7th grade, we build on the skills, observations, and practice of 6th grade. Students also learn how to generate their own project ideas while utilizing skills learned in various media, drawing, and composition.
"We don't teach Art to make Fine Artist. We teach Art to make creative thinkers."
The difference between artists and those who think they can't do Art is that when an artist
makes a mistake she goes back and figures out a way to make it right, but when a person who
doesn't think she can't do art makes a mistake she says, "See, I told you I couldn't do art!".
