TellusTalk now offers a package for on-line and off-line auctions. The standard auction package makes it possible to work with auctions in an easy and coherent way.

How does it work?

1. Your company, iBay ltd, publishes an ad for your auction on your webpage or in a SMS message to your clients.

2. Participants register by sending the name of the auction e.g. ”iBay Auction21” to 72080.

(Optional: participants will immediately be notified via SMS that they are registered participants in the auction)

3. Bidders send their bids to 72080, e.g. ”iBay Auction21 €150”.

4a. The bid is forwarded to the auction administrator. The administrator decides the future of the auction, which could include one of the following actions: informing the participants of the highest bid, link to the auction object, when the auction will close etc…

4b. The alternative to 4a is that the auction is open; all participants of the auction will immediately be informed of new bids by SMS in real time. This scenario will decrease the number of tasks performed by the auction administrator substantially.

The standard package includes one first level code word, 10 auctions, reception of an unlimited number of bids via SMS, connection to your email system or other system via email or API. In addition, the administrator can send SMS using TellusTalk’s premium platform to all mobile phones in the world, on-line traffic statistics using the TellusTalk web interface as well as delivery reports via email, web or API.
