Sending alternatives

If you log on to your toolbox using the TellusTalk homepage you can define your text/SMS message sending alternatives.

1. Mobile phone number.

You can define any mobile phone number as the sender. The receiver will get the impression that you are sending the message from that mobile phone and reply to the message or chose to call the number.

2. Text*

You can specify text, max 11 characters that will be shown as the sender to the receiver. The receiver cannot reply to the message.

3. Text from the subject field*

You can chose to specify the first 11 characters in the subject field of the email message as the text/SMS senderID. If the subject field is longer than that the part that exceeds 11 characters will be truncated. This is a useful tool if you want to change the sender ID only using your email.

4. Reply-SMS.

If you chose smart reply-SMS you will receive the answers back to the email address that you sent the question from, although you can specify another email address for receiving the answers, if you prefer. The question originally sent will be included in the reply, making it easy to keep track of who replied what when you sent the same question to many. The receiver will reply to a dynamic mobile phone number, and they reply the way they normally do.
