Spotlight on AVID

KHS AVID Site Team Meeting

Kennedy High School used some of their site team time at the summer institute to develop their own AVID Mission! The AVID site team at Kennedy High School will create a culture of equity and achievement through shared learning so that all students have academic success and are college ready. The team met during workshop week to discuss their 2016-17 AVID goals and begin making plans for action steps!

VVM Cornell Notes Workshop

This year, Valley View Middle is working hard to take Cornell Notes school-wide. They have identified a school wide SMART goal, and have broken that into targets by grade level. During workshop week, VVM teams took some time to begin developing an implementation plan with action steps and timelines for accomplishing this goal so that by the end of the 2016-17 school year, all VVM students will be taking Cornell Notes!
