VVM 7th Grade Tutorials
VVE Trip to Buck Hill
Recently, Valley View Elementary students attended a field trip to Buck Hill. For many of them, it was their first time on skis! It was amazing to see their resilience and perseverance as they tackled this new skill, and their pride when they made it to the bottom of the hill successfully.
VVM 8th Graders visit KHS AVID
AVID 8th Graders visited Kennedy in January to learn about high school. The trip included opportunities to hear about activities and schedules at KHS, Q&A with a panel of current AVID high school students, shadowing an AVID student during a class, and socializing during a pizza lunch!
How do your AVID Students inspire one another?
Valley View Middle AVID students have recently been giving passion speeches. As one student presenter her message, she said, "Our race should be humanity; we should be teaching love and breathing kindness." Below is a photo of the students in that class.
KHS Trip to HTC
Kennedy AVID sophomores recently attended a college/career field trip to Hennepin Technical College.
