AVID at Kennedy High School
Eleventh-grade AVID students have been using ePrep, an online test preparation tool, to prepare for their upcoming ACT Exams. ePrep uses scores from a practice English test and student answers to tailor learning for each individual. These pictures show students watching tutorial videos, which explain each of their incorrect answers.
Ninth- and tenth-grade students at Kennedy High School participate in team-building activities.

AVID Claps
One way for students to begin feeling connected with their classmates is through participating in a common experience. As students begin to progress through the stages of developing relational capacity, AVID Claps can become one of the key elements in establishing a group identity and group unity.

Informational/instructional videos, handouts and downloads covering many AVID Essentials, including Writing, Inquiry, Tutorials, Data and Site Teams.
A time-sensitive support and collaboration forum for AVID Elective Teachers and Site Coordinators, providing an opportunity to collaborate with other coordinators and teachers from all over the country about issues and topics affecting their students and classes right now.
This web meeting allows coordinators and teachers a wide variety of dates and times to choose from to best fit their schedules.
