Astronomy

Astronomy is a one semester class that will investigate space and the physical universe. The topics covered are the history of astronomy, astronomy terminology and measurements, origins of the universe, all the celestial objects in the universe and beyond, basic physics, radio astronomy, astrophotography, and exoplanet exploration. The students will go on virtual field trips using smart telescopes and observatories. Also, the students will learn how to be an amateur astrophotographer/astronomer.

This is a one semester class that meets in the fall semester.
