This course provides students with the opportunity to explore key concepts in earth, life, and physical science aligned to Ohio State Standards. In physical science, students will focus on the physical features of Earth and how they formed, the interior of Earth, the rock and fossil record, and plate tectonics. In life science, students will study diversity of species, Meiosis and Mitosis, and heredity. In physical science, students will focus on forces and motion studying magnetic, electrostatic, and gravitational fields. Newton's Laws will also be explored. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to conduct investigations and apply mathematical skills in analyzing variables of data using basic scientific inquiry skills.
