Grade 7 - HMH INTO MATH

In Grade 7, HMH Into Math builds on prior knowledge by deepening students’ understanding of proportional relationships and expanding their work with rational numbers. Students apply mathematical concepts to solve multi-step problems involving percentages, proportions, and real-world situations.

Instruction focuses on operations with integers, solving multi-step equations and inequalities, and analyzing relationships using graphs. Students also explore geometry concepts such as scale drawings, angle relationships, and probability.

The course emphasizes reasoning, precision, and the ability to model and solve complex problems, further preparing students for algebra.
