The Elementary School (Grades K–5) program provides a strong academic foundation while supporting the development of independent learners in a virtual environment. Instruction is aligned to the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Learning Standards and focuses on building essential skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Students engage in a balanced instructional approach that includes teacher-led virtual lessons, independent practice, and interactive digital resources. In the early grades, students develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills, while upper elementary students expand their understanding through critical thinking, problem-solving, and application of knowledge across subject areas.
Our program also supports the development of the whole child. Students participate in fine arts and wellness activities that encourage creativity, self-expression, and healthy habits. Families play an important role in the learning process, especially in the primary grades, by supporting daily learning and helping students stay engaged.
The Elementary School program is designed to foster confidence, curiosity, and academic growth, preparing students for a successful transition to middle school.
