Helena's story on this site 'Focus on life and giving' will give you a very good feel for the power of Story Telling.

BEYOND Social Services, Singapore
Helena Zweifel and Barbara Muller presented aidsfocus.ch. This is a network of NGOs whose members are active in memory work. Memory work is a methodology that evolved in Africa in support of people living with HIV and AIDS. Through working with their memories, people find their strength to go on with their lives.Helena commented on her experience with the Market Place: "The Market Place was a very good experience. We showed people our toolkit, which is a collection of our learnings. We wanted to share it with others. Our discussions gave me a very good chance to talk about it. They were asking questions and sharing experiences. "We did something similar." "We should try this with our people." "Do you think that it will work with….?" There were lots of questions like that. It was very motivating."
Here is one view of a visit to aidsfocus. ch, "Kokila and I were very moved by Helena’s project on Memory Book. The idea of helping someone create a memory book, so that they could leave behind something of their own creation after they pass on, was at once powerful and moving. Not only does it leave a tangible record of someone’s love for their family and friends, it also gives them a chance to heal and unburden."
Burundi Competence joins the Constellation to say thank you to Solidarité Protestante and its partners, who, after this first step are determined to adopt the CLCP in the development and management of all their programs and projects

Constellation Business Offering
Burundi Competence is one of the Constellations that learned a lot from the experiences of long-distance truckers who, in turn, have learned from the experiences of men who have sex with men in their combat against discrimination and finally which has learned also from the experiences of people infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
In the market place organized in Chennai, Burundi Competence shared its recent experience of facilitation of community competence in partnership with faith-based organizations. Stakeholders in the fight against AIDS often complain that their religion hinders prevention efforts. Even professionals who work daily with priests, imams and pastors have this fear that it is not easy to involve representatives of God in activities against AIDS.
However, during our facilitation activities, dreams and Self Assessment helped us to discover a different reality. We found that religious leaders had a wealth of experiences in the fight against AIDS, we discovered tolerance towards the approaches implemented by others and a great desire to learn from outside their organizations. Thus, they immediately initiated workshops to exchange experiences with people living with HIV, who showed heartfelt appreciation for the consideration shown by religious leaders towards them. The CLCP played the role of an accelerator in implementing good resolutions of religious denominations by having them discover their strengths and needs of their followers.
Burundi Competence
The purpose of BEYOND Singapore is to curb delinquency among disadvantaged young people and their families and to move them beyond their problems."We want to develop young people who respect the law, value education and seek to become responsible persons. We believe that people have the ability to help themselves and can successfully reach their goals despite their disadvantages."Here is how Ani describes his visit to BEYOND. "BEYONDS’s work in Singapore helps create spaces for young people from lower economic backgrounds to re-energize themselves to go to school, hone their talents in music, dance, writing, or sports, and gives them a sense of community and care. Jason, who is also from Singapore, presented his work with ‘Vertical Kampung,’ that recognizes how our villages (Kampung) have shrunk drastically and have arranged themselves vertically in skyscrapers and in apartments where we often don’t see our neighbours, let alone talk to them. Jason helps in drawing out volunteers and helps them design their work in creating a community out of this asphalt jungle! In short, as he says, he helps volunteers volunteer!"

Constellation Global Support Team (GST)
This is Ani's impression of this stall: 'Joel, Rebecca and Boris are working on a new model of extending the CLCP approach to business communities as well. They see business establishments – big and small – as adding to the strength of the triad we are familiar with: the Constellation, NGOs, Communities. In their very creative pictographic representation of their idea, these four entities were like the star fish on the sea. When integrated together with the CLCP approach, they can together tackle issues, nurture dreams and rise and grow and become actual stars on the sky! Kokila was fascinated by this imagery and shared with me that there was nothing more powerful than a picture that speaks clearly! '

The Constellation is made up of communities from all over the world. The Constellation’s Support Team (GST) is stimulating and connecting those stars. Up to the end of 2011 this team, consisting of five people, had its base in an office in Chang Mai, Thailand. We were doing our work with a lot of joy and satisfaction. However, we did our work in 2012 in a very different way. The work was being done not by a small team, but by over 40 people spread across the globe. Each of us contributes our time and talents from within our possibilities. You can read more details of why and how the change took place in 2012 in Marlou's story of Local Reponse on this site.

The team at Heroes Project works with various funders on communications, advocacy and behaviour change programmes that support HP’s organisational mission: To leverage the power of societal leaders and media to improve public health and social well-being.
Heroes Project’s idea of having public personalities support and endorse projects, Saksham project’s method of integrating learnings from their HIV/AIDS intervention projects with both women in sex work as well as gay and bisexual men was utterly fascinating.
