"We relate to each other as human beings."
What makes us human?
Jean-Louis invited us to share in a small group, made up of people that we had not met before, the essence of what makes us human. We were then asked to feed back to the whole group what we had found to be at the heart of our humanity.
Our experience with CLCP
We were asked to reflect on their experience of the facilitation of CLCP. Our first task was to consider the parts of the process that people found difficult to use or to understand. Our second task was to consider the aspects of the process that they found difficult to facilitate. We then discussed our conclusions in small groups.

"We appreciate the strength of communities."
We divided into 8 groups and made SALT visits to communities in the districts of Nagapattinam and Tiruvannalmalai.
The day began just as the sun was rising.
Some of us were very fortunate enough to visit the temple town of Tiruvannamalai.
This is the SALT visit to Paramanandal Panchayat.
...and it was dark when it was time for us to leave

"We appreciate the strengths of communities and we learn-and-share."
The Market Place
During the night, the car park had been transformed into a Market Place. We now recognised that the organisations where we work are themselves communities and this was the opportunity to appreciate the strengths of our communities and also to learn-and-share with each other.
The AAR (After Action Reflection) of yesterday's SALT visit
We came back into our SALT visit groups and concluded the AARs of yesterday's SALT. We shared our thoughts with the whole group.
