Each term, HiP House discusses and agrees upon a set of expectations about how we share our house and how we build and foster community.

• Quiet hours (Fall 2024)

  • Weekdays: 10pm - 9 am

  • Weekends: 2 am - 9 am

  • All hours are "respectful hours"—please be sensitive about noise (e.g. noisy workshifts) and responsive to requests to reduce noise.

General topics on the community agreements include:

• bathroom etiquette 

• guest etiquette

• quiet hours

• nudity (get ready for spicy conversations and remember -- in the kitchen nudity actually isn't particularly more or less sanitary than skimpy clothing, unless the equipment is really big.) 

• calling the cops 

• study room and common area noise etiquette 

• pets
