The equipment below is located in the house office / mail room.

House Computer

There’s a house computer in the office named cruiser (192.168.1.3). It runs Windows Vista. You can use the guest account or your own account. Contact the network manager if you want an account created for you. Most people just use the guest account.

House Printer/Scanner

The house's public printer is a Brother MFC-L2740DW, which can also scan and copy. It is accessible over the network, so you can print from your own computer. Printing costs $.05 per page. Place payment in the jar literally hanging in front of the printer, or use Venmo, with Venmo payment instructions on the jar. Paper Shredder

It's amazing the sensitive information people put in the trash, like social security numbers, credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc. Better to shred it to bits! Don't overload it with a fat stack- keep it to 5 pages at a time or so, and you might need to empty the bin.
