This workshift is done daily before dinner (between 3-7 pm)
This workshift cleans and restocks the dining areas (including main and side dining rooms).
Remove all trash from the dining areas. Remember the side dining (piano) room! On warm sunny days, don’t forget the tables out back!
Put all stray dishware in the dish room. Rinsed, please.
Put any delivered food away.
Put all magazines in the magazine rack (on the side of the cup cabinet).
Wipe tables clean using a towel (not a nasty sponge) with a dilute solution of Oil Soap (a gentle cleaner for wood) according to the directions on the bottle or Food Safe Sanitizer. Wood oil soap is a milky-looking liquid (some varieties are orange-colored and clear). Do not use blue concentrate (aka Basic-H) or bleach on the tables since this will hurt the finish.
Sweep the floors of the dining room, side dining room, and entrance foyer/hallway.
Refill napkin dispensers (note directionality: folded side on top!) and salt and pepper shakers.
Organize and clean the armoire in the dinning room. Please make sure that all cook books are put away on the shelves.
