this shift is done twice a week on Sundays and Wednesdays
Make sure that this shift is done on the day that it is assigned to you. If you wash the towels late the cooks and kitchen cleaners may run out (which makes their jobs hard) and the towels start smelling mildewy (ewww...)
There is a blue and a pink bin the the dishroom marked "Clean" and "Dirty"
Collect any other random towels and potholders you see around the kitchen and dishroom.
Also take the mop heads off the mops in the mop closet.
Take dirty towels and wash with detergent and bleach
Also wash the mop heads, separately
Dry and fold towels
Put towels in the "clean" bin (it's useful what you make one of the "clean" bins big towels and the other "clean" bin small towels), and potholders in the "potholders/trivets" drawer near the coffee machine.
Put the mop heads back on the mops.
Wipe down inside the washers and dryers after finishing load with Waxie Disinfectant cleaner(Wait 10 minutes before wiping down).
Quarters can be obtained from house manager or workshift manager
It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure the containers in which the towels are stored are kept clean and mold free. Please clean them regularly.
