This page contains current issues or problems with Canvas that we are aware of.
As of January 2021, there's a new version of the main editor on Canvas (called the Rich Content Editor). It has all the same functions as the old one, but things have been moved around a bit. See more details on the Canvas page: What is the New Rich Content Editor?
These are the two most common questions we've been getting:
How do I insert links to assignments? (Or modules or discussions or any course links)
How do I insert files?
If you're using any external tools (like VidGrid), you can find them here:
FIXED! This is no longer an issue. The biola.instructure.com domain works now.

To make sure you can view the Zoom Classroom links in your Canvas courses, log in at https://canvas.biola.edu/ (rather than biola.instructure.com, which doesn't work with the Zoom LTI and won't show the links)

Unfortunately, at the moment, the Canvas mobile app automatically logs you in to biola.instructure.com, which does not properly show the Zoom links in Canvas classes. To fix this, you need to get the Canvas app to log in to https://canvas.biola.edu instead. Here are the steps:
Open Canvas app
If you're already logged in to Canvas, log out
On the login screen, tap "Find my School"
Type in "Biola"
Tap "Biola University"
This will take you to a Biola login screen. Don't log in. Tao "Back" instead
Tap on the "biola.instructure.com" address and delete it then replace it by typing in canvas.biola.edu instead.
Log in normally
We apologize for the inconvenience. We generally recommend attending class using a desktop or laptop computer if possible, but the above instructions will allow you to find the Zoom links if you need to use the Canvas app on a mobile device. We're currently working with Canvas to see if this can be fixed soon.
