The Preschool Room
Welcome to the Preschool Room! Birth to age 3 is an important phase of child development, especially for those with neurological or physical differences. When a child deviates from the typical milestone timelines, this could lead to delays in their development. However, intervening early by providing direct instruction on skills, supports for the family and related services can help mitigate some of the difficulties prior to needing formal evaluation. Throughout the Preschool Room, you will interact with a parent of a child with a neurological or physical difference, review topics that are related to both special education and/or early intervention, and assess our knowledge of the course content by using a playful game format and/or using a double entry journal.
