Welcome to the Gymnasium! After taking on the ghost and trying to trap them, we need to burn some energy. This particular room is great for that. We are also going to be exploring a category of exceptionality that is NOT covered usually under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

This high incidence category is includes students who struggle with executive functioning, which impacts the mental processes that enable us to plan, focus attention, remember, and juggle multiple tasks.

Your goal during this room is to explore different facets of ADHD including the causes, symptoms, and strategies to help students be more successful in the general education classroom.
