For individuals with cognitive and neurological needs, some of the simplest tasks are not always the easiest. Watch the video below on how a father did with making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich based on his kids written instructions. Your mission for this quest is to create a list of instructions for completing an everyday task for Dr. Deger or her education majors to complete. Your mission is to be as specific as possible because Dr. Deger, or her education majors (they really want to participate in your class), will complete the steps verbatim (or as how you wrote them) in a video. After watching Dr. Deger's attempt video...talk about what how I did with following the instructions. Did you think you were specific enough in your instructions and what might you do next time if you had to give me instructions again.

In completing this quest, there are two parts.

1. Create a task analysis, a list of steps, in order to complete the quest.

2. Email task analysis to Dr. Deger.

3. Watch video of your task analysis being completed.

4. Reflect on three things:

   1. How did Dr. Deger, or the ed major (seriously they want to play too), do with following your instructions?

   2. Do you think you were clear enough with your instructions? Why or why not?

   3. What would you want to do for next time to make improvements?
