March Maidness

Post date: Mar 28, 2011 8:14:28 PM

Yesterday afternoon went crazy when it comes to schedules. After leaving Times Square Church during sermons, I took a D Train to West 4th Street and walk 3 blocks to Amber Village. I arrive 10 minutes before opening and met everyone there. But there are technical problems so it started a little late. But we got things going under control.

Reni's Maid Show

Since June 2010, I started to attend Reni Mimura's shows and following her on Facebook. Of course March is the time when I get the chance to prove myself worthy. As you know, every performance has a program list.

Beginning

Natsuki (NaruNatsu.com) has been holding a donation box for the people that want to donate. I put some in. 2 winning performers get to perform in the monthly singing contest. Then Reni's songs and even introduce to a few new ones.

Thank you for being born!

I talked about my long-term dream which is computer technician. But it requires some college training so that is why it's long-term.

Achievements

Since the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami hits on March 11th, I've been attending Japanese fundraiser events this month and I'm very proud what I'm doing so far. Helping the Japanese victims really matters and not just anime or culture.

30 Seconds game

As usual since September 2010, singing is my only option rather than talk. Requires rehearsal every day. I chose Paradise from T-Max (Opening theme of Boys over Flowers Korean) and it didn't go well. I crashed a few lines but the rest was okay. Still, it's kinda sucks but that is my last.

Moe Moe Nyanken

I immediately picked Rock when the real game starts. But the first pick always gets the first loss. Until the whole game, Erica (MoeMiru) won the game. But I'm really jealous at her. Also, a new song has been introduced while Erica entertain us. On a side note, Erica is also born on March and her sign is Pisces. Which makes her very lucky.

D.N.A (Reni's Song)

This month, everyone puts their hands on their shoulders and moves in both directions like a train.

The rest

I brought this shirt from Reni's booth! Of course the goods from Reni is 10% going to charity. This shirt should be used as a membership discount. Also donated before going to that event below the bolded large text but I have a wonderful time at Reni's. I won't be attending to Reni's anymore until Summer due to long-term business actions.

Pray for Japan (Dance Performance)

I placed $15 for the event. But there are 12 performances within the hour. Of course NO PICS OR VIDEOS allowed. I'm pretty satisfied seeing Masami and Chieli perform. But Fuyuko is once again too hard to recognize and I had no idea about her performing. I had food/drink and talked to performers about their effort before leaving.

Insectduel's Domain will continue going to Japan fundraiser performances to help the victims of Japan. Please check my Facebook fan page for details.
